HOW CAN I BE SURE YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB?

1) Safety is our number one priority. We abide by all OSHA standards and develop a safety plan for every job before even setting a rope in your tree. We utilize the best gear on the market and perform daily maintenance to ensure safe operation.
2) We take great pride in our customer service. From estimates to job completion, you will see this sets us aside from most other companies.
3) Tree preservation is one of our top priorities and we are honest in our assessments. We would rather lose money than to sell you on a tree service that is not needed
4) We are incredibly passionate about arboriculture and strive for continued education.  We regularly attend expos and seminars in order to stay up to date with the latest equipment, practices, and techniques.

HOW DOES THE WHOLE PROCESS WORK?

1) You will call us to schedule a FREE estimate
2) An owner will arrive promptly to asses the scope of work and discuss service options available
3) We will either text or email you an estimate. Upon approval we will add you to our schedule.
4) After the job is completed we will ensure your satisfaction and discuss any suggested follow ups
5) We will text or email you an invoice

HOW MUCH WILL THE SERVICE COST?

Cost depends on a number of factors. Height and diameter play a big role in calculating cost.  Other considerations include accessibility, nearby structures, electrical hazards, health of the tree, and what you would like done with the wood.  We offer 3 options for debris: A "cut and leave" is our least expensive option where we leave debris for you to cleanup, our second option is a "quick clean" where we will stack wood in firewood sized pieces and clean our work area, and our final option is a "full clean" where we will take all debris with us and fully clean the work area before departing.  We will outline the pricing for each option during the estimating process and allow you to decide which you would prefer.

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN A TREE REMOVAL?

We utilize special tools to section trees down from top to bottom if there are obstacles preventing us from felling the tree from the ground. We use a combination of rigging ropes, pulleys, lowering devices, and winches in order to minimize risk of damage while removing tree sections overhanging your home or surrounding structures. Depending on the scope of work we may bring our wood chipper, logging trailer, compact loader, or stump grinder to facilitate the job. Minor lawn damage should be expected although that is rarely the case. Our brand new articulated loader and stump grinder are designed for high-end residential properties where ground pressure must be kept at a minimum.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PRUNE?

Although pruning is most commonly done during dormancy, most trees are resilient enough to be pruned (if done properly) at any time of the year. You and your family's safety come above all else, if any portion of a tree is hazardous the best option is to remove it immediately.  Removing dead, diseased, or damaged wood can be done any time of the year without having much of an impact on overall tree health.

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL?

PLEASE pick up any dog droppings before we arrive.  Our ropes and gear are incredibly expensive, and excrement can ruin them.  Additionally, please move any non permanent structures around the work area if you are physically able to do so (benches, tables, lawn ornaments, etc.) If you can't, no worries! We will clear our work area before starting.

WILL INSURANCE COVER COSTS FOLLOWING DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY?

Insurance will typically only cover damages if a tree that is deemed as "healthy" falls and damages your personal property.  If an unhealthy tree falls and results in damage, your insurance company may not cover the costs. This is why it is VITAL to address sick or dying trees on your property before they become a liability. We would be happy asses your trees for decay and hazards!

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR THE PROCESS?

No! As long as we are permitted to access your property we do not need you to be home.

WHAT GUARANTEES CAN YOU OFFER THAT THE JOB WILL BE FINISHED ON TIME AND ON BUDGET?

We will NEVER ask for full payment prior to job completion. We ensure that every job has been completed to your satisfaction. Upon completing an estimate, we will outline our projected start and completion date. Sometimes circumstances beyond our control (weather for example) may slightly extend our time on the job.

WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE AREA?

We typically service York, Chester, and Lancaster counties. If you live outside of these counties feel free to still reach out to us! We will occasionally work outside of our standard service area.
